Objectives:
1. Work closely with governments and payers to develop frameworks, processes, and strategies for implementation
2. Build targeting strategy (by tumour site, stage, region, etc.) for an industry-supported solution to advocate for greater access to molecular diagnostics
-
Education & Socialization
This working group is focused on increasing the overall awareness and education of patients, HCPs and decision makers across the healthcare system regarding advanced diagnostics availability and utility.
Objectives:
1. Understand educational needs of patients and HCPs
2. Develop content to improve health literacy and advocacy
3. Build relationships across stakeholder groups and ensure stakeholders in the patient journey are aware of the potential benefits of advanced diagnostic testing
4. Leverage patient and physician networks to communicate the work of the Coalition in advancing towards greater access
-
Evidence Generation & Value Story
This working group is focused on building a value story to support greater access to molecular diagnostic testing by identifying, creating, curating and analyzing standardized high-quality data sources.
Objectives:
1. Utilize data sources, including RWE, to build a clinical and economic business case around greater access to molecular diagnostics
2. Support the development of standardized data interpretation and quality control processes and procedures for socialization
3. Utilize data and evidence to build the value story for greater diagnostic access
4. Advocate for the development of national guidelines for testing and the support system to enact it
